We are pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Gartner (Michel) as our new Executive Director of Girls on the Run Central Maryland. This decision reflects the organization's dedication to fostering a culture of empowerment and excellence.

With a remarkable tenure of 14 years as our Director of Operations, Susan has been the driving force behind our organization's program side, establishing and nurturing vital partnerships with coaches, sites, family members, organizations, and community members.

Her unwavering commitment to empowering girls to realize their full potential exemplifies her outstanding volunteer leadership as a Girls on the Run coach for over 25 seasons. Through her mentorship and guidance, she has inspired countless young girls at the elementary and middle school levels. Her strong passion for Girls on the Run, extensive expertise, healthy self-confidence, and exceptional leadership skills render her an ideal candidate for this position.
