The course will start and end at 6940 Gateway Drive, Columbia MD

Directions

To 6940 Gateway Drive, Columbia

From Rt 32:
Take 175 West
Take the exit for Columbia Gateway Dr
Destination will be on your right

From Rt 29:
Take 175 east and take the Snowden River
Parkway exit toward Columbia Gateway Dr.
Follow signs for Columbia Gateway Drive.
Destination will be on your right.

Support Girls on the Run of Central Maryland

100% of race proceeds go directly to Girls on the Run of Howard County whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Registration Deadline:

  • Girls on the Run participants for the Spring 2012 season are already enrolled.
  • Please DO NOT register your daughter.
  • All other runners must register online prior to April 20th to receive a Girls on the Run 5k run t-shirt.
  • Thank you for your support!!!

Buddy Runner:

If you are a community runner that has not been assigned to a GOTR participant for the Spring 2012  race and would like to become a buddy runner, please register and then contact Matt Waters at:mwaters1216@gmail.com.

Complete application for a buddy runner and mail to: Girls on the Run of Central Maryland 8640 Guilford Rd, Suite 208 Columbia MD, 21046.

Schedule

7:00 AM: Packet pick-up
7:45 AM: Warm-up
8:00 AM: 5k starts
9:15 AM: Raffle drawing/Prizes

Timing

The New Balance Girls on the Run 5k is not officially timed; however, there will be a clock at the finish line for runners to check their times.

Race Restrictions

The race will be held rain or shine.
No refunds of entry fees and no mailed confirmations of entry.

No pets, strollers, or bikes will be permitted on the course.
